*** UPDATE: October 13th 2010 ***

We would like to thank all Liverpool fans who fought the fight against Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
Two men who stood for everything that Liverpool Football Club despises. Today's court judgement should
hopefully put an end to our campaign which was to remove these two individuals from the club.

We have paid a heavy price for their involvement. £122M in interest payments in 3 and a half years while seeing only £9M spent on players. Liverpool could not carry on under a huge debt mountain. Today signals the end of all of that.

Thank you to everyone who was ready to help us with the cost of advertising and the escalation of direct action. But most of all thanks to everyone who sent an email, informed other fans of the situation, or shared links or information.

Together we never walked alone.

*** SOME FACTS ***

Under Hicks and Gillett Liverpool FC was in approximately £420M of debt before NESV took over. As a result of this sale to NESV, almost all acquisition debt has been removed. Hicks and Gillett and Mill Financial lose out to the tune of £144M.

The message from this is that financial institutions should not invest in Hicks and Gillett. Sports clubs should steer clear of Hicks and Gillett.

In the 3 and a half years they were in charge Liverpool spent £9M net on players and £122M on bank interest.

Liverpool fans fought back. Do not let them near your sports club or business in the future.
